Chicken with CANDONI Mushrooms and Peppers (Pollo alla cacciatora con funghi e peperoni CANDONI)
Serves 6
  • 1 jar CANDONI Mushroom
  • 1/2 jar CANDONI Peppers
  • 8 chicken quarters
  • 4 Tbs. CANDONI Sauté Oil, or Pure & Mild Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 Tbs. fresh sage, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper

Trim chicken quarters. Heat oil in a large, wide pan and quickly sauté chicken and garlic. Add wine and let evaporate about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sage.

Cover and simmer about one hour. Serve over linguini.
